Brian Welsh, MD, studied medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. He has more than seven years experience in private practice and six years experience as a hospitalist at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Centennial and Baylor University Medical Center, where he teaches and trains residents. Dr. Welsh is also active in femtech and women's healthcare start-ups. He's passionate about leveraging technology to improve outcomes for women and advancing the medical landscape. He consults for femtech start-ups such as Noula and Tunne and recommends helpful technology tools to support his patient's healthcare journeys from prenatal to postpartum and through menopause. He enjoys building relationships with his patients and considers it an honor to be present for one of their most important moments. Dr. Welsh lives in the Dallas area with his wife, newborn daughter, and flat-coated retriever. When he's not working, he enjoys being active and reading nerdy books about science and biographies, as well as outdoor activities.
